Shereen Bartholomew

Shereen Bartholomew is a first-year Master of Public Health student in Epidemiology at the Rutgers School of Public Health with a strong interest in the intersection of data science and clinical research. She is passionate about using data to better understand population health patterns and translate complex health information into insights that inform clinical research and public health decision-making. Through her graduate training, she is developing skills in statistical programming, data analysis, data collection, and research reporting using tools such as SAS and R. She also brings experience from clinical and public health settings, including analyzing electrocardiogram (ECG) data in a clinical office environment, supporting patient documentation in electronic medical record systems, contributing to public health data collection during the COVID-19 pandemic, and working in behavioral health settings. Shereen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in International Affairs from Rutgers University–Newark and an Associate in Science in Chemistry from Union College of Union County, New Jersey. She aspires to become a clinical data scientist and epidemiologist supporting data-driven clinical research and improved health outcomes.
