Chelsea Yang ,
Undergraduate Student
Chelsea Yang is an undergraduate student at Rutgers University pursuing a bachelor’s in Economics. Her academic interests include international economics, financial economics and public policy. She is particularly interested in exploring the intersection between exploring innovative solutions through the intersection of policy, technology and social impact.
Previously, she has held a multitude of positions ranging from the nonprofit field to local startups helping with social media, data analysis, and quantitative research. At Rutgers, she is an active member of the debate team competing in British Parliament at renouned universities across the world. Beyond academics, she loves playing the piano, traveling, drawing and cuddling with a good book.
Currently, she is gaining hands-on experience in artificial intelligence through her internship as an AI Dataset Intern at the Institute of Data Research and Innovation (IDRIS), where she contributed to building structured datasets for generative AI training, performing quality assurance, and refining workflows with the AI training team.
