Kimele Persaud, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Psychology and MC² Lab Director
Dr. Kimele Persaud is an assistant professor of psychology and director of the Memory and Computational Cognition (MC2) Lab at Rutgers University – Newark. Kimele received her PhD and certificate in Cognitive Science from Rutgers University – New Brunswick. She completed her postdoctoral work at Rutgers – Newark as an NSF postdoctoral fellow before joining the faculty in 2022. Her research program uses a combination of behavioral and computational approaches, bridging cognitive science and development, to evaluate the processes and mechanisms that underlie episodic memory and learning across the lifespan.
