Dr. Kimele Persaud is an assistant professor of psychology and director of the Memory and Computational Cognition (MC²) Lab at Rutgers University–Newark. Kimele received her PhD and certificate in Cognitive Science from Rutgers University–New Brunswick. She completed her postdoctoral work at Rutgers–Newark as an NSF postdoctoral fellow before joining the faculty in 2022. Her research program uses a combination of behavioral and computational approaches, bridging cognitive science and development, to evaluate the processes and mechanisms that underlie episodic memory and learning across the lifespan.
